Creative Analytic
As a professional in the climate space, I use geospatial methods and creative communications to enable action for diverse end-users. I am actively seeking opportunities to leverage my skillsets to achieve climate justice at the intersection of research and action.
My love for the environment was influenced by my upbringing in Curaçao, an island with ~ 150,000 people surrounded by clear blue waters and desert-like vegetation. My love for the environment was complemented by a fear of what would happen to my island as the effects of climate change worsened, which shaped my decision to pursue a career in climate justice.
I explored professional training at EY Dutch Caribbean, Brookings Institution, NASA DEVELOP, EarthHacks, and most recently at the Center for Climate & Health @ BU. Through experiences across different spheres, I have refined my skills in desk research, geospatial analysis, writing, and communication (written and cartographic). I leverage my skillset to help solve the most pressing issue of our time — Climate Change.
